The aircraft starter AM1800 GPU (Ground Power Units) intended for military use combines all the experience that EFFETI has gathered in over thirty years of business for the armed forces.
AM 1800 GPU (Ground Power Units) is simple and user-friendly and designed to operate in the most extreme environments while complying with the regulations in force for military applications and, finally, it matches sturdiness, safety and reliability with a simple design, while adapting well to all operating requirements.
AM 1800 GPU (Ground Power Units) is equipped with an independent emergency system for aircraft start, fitted with special rechargeable Nickel-Cadmium batteries – if the diesel engine should not operate – and a stand-alone handling system that allows to easily move it also in lack of a towing system; as a consequence this system is the perfect answer to the requirements of those who serve every day in the military.
