Starting from this assumption, the model AM1800 DUAL GEN GPU (Ground Power Units) has been designed and specifically intended for use by the military; as a matter of fact, thanks to the innovative DUAL GEN technology system resulting from the experience EFFETI acquired both in the GPU (Ground Power Units) and power generators business, this model combines GPU (Ground Power Units) and POWER GENERATOR potential and operation in a single machine. Indeed, with AM1800 DUAL GEN GPU (Ground Power Units) it is possible to:
– Supply the necessary energy to aircrafts operating with direct current, through the 28Vdc/2000Adc port
– Supply electricity continuously up to 60kVA at normal operating loads with voltage at 400/230Vac 50Hz such as, for instance: camp lighting systems, tent fields, air conditioners, electrical heating systems etc…
