Q: Which informations are necessary to submit in order to get a generating set quotation?
A: Here below are reported some carachteristics that are absolutely necessary , obviously more information defines better your enquiry and ensures a proper answer:
1. POWER: stated in KVA
2. CONFIGURATION: specift if the unit needs to be mounted on base or on trailer ; in the second option the trailer can be slow towing (i.e. building site) or fast towing (i.e. for on-road transport)
3. VOLTAGE: if three phase 400/231 V or 220 V if single phase ; these are the most common options in Europe , different voltages are presenty in other countries therefore it's an important point to consider 
4. FREQUENCY: normally 50 or 60 Hz
5. CONTROL BOARD: manual (key-start) or automatic starting , if automatic the control board can be mounted aside the main unit , also clearly state if automatic transfer switch is needed
6. CANOPY: Can be weatherproof only or soundproof
7. BATTERY: 12 V or 24 V
